Things You Should Know
About the Breeds We, and You, Love So Much

We chose these specific breeds to specialize in, because with so many people having pet allergies, my daughter being one, we have specifically looked into the more "Hypo-allergenic" breeds. Little did we know how quickly we would fall head over heels in love with these lovable little darlings. We have done a lot of research into the hypo-allergenic claims, and though little evidence of this can be substantiated or clinically proven, our experience with, at least these breeds, have proven to be accommodating to our household's allergies. We have had many friends with poodles, and loved playing with them. My daughter thought she would really enjoy the character traits of the Shih Tzu, and she was right. We have all fallen in love with these breeds. So why did we also include the Bichon Frise? After doing our due diligence, we also found their temperament to be similar to the Shih Tzu and Poodle, and who doesn’t want to have another "Lap Dog" in the house. All three of these breeds are GREAT show dogs; Talented, Intelligent, and Eager to Please. They are all, very personable breeds as well, and are the happiest when you are there so they can show you love, which makes it nearly impossable not to love them back just as much. Whether you just want someone to keep you company, or someone to Show Off a little, any one of these beautiful breeds will fill that desire. We have all come to love these talented and loving dogs so much, we just love to share the that we have found with others.
Below is some information from AKC to give you a little help you in your research and in deciding which breed is the best fit for your family's needs.

Shih Tzu (pronounced in the West “sheed-zoo” or “sheet-su”; the Chinese say “sher-zer”), weighing between 9 to 16 pounds, and standing between 8 and 11 inches, are surprisingly solid for dogs their size. The coat, which comes in many colors, is worth the time you will put into it—few dogs are as beautiful as a well-groomed Shih Tzu.
Being cute is a way of life for this lively charmer. The Shih Tzu is known to be especially affectionate with children. As a small dog bred to spend most of their day inside royal palaces, they make a great pet if you live in an apartment or lack a big backyard. Some dogs live to dig holes and chase cats, but a Shih Tzu’s idea of fun is sitting in your lap acting adorable as you try to watch TV. For more information,

The Shih Poo is a highly sought after designer breed. A mix of the Shih Tzu and the Poodle, these loving little babies are full of life and love to cuddle. Considered to be Hypoallergenic due to their low shedding. We have chosen to specialize in this breed because the combined temperament of the Shih Tzu and Poodle make this a wonderfully joyous pet.
If you are looking for a sweet little puppy that will stay on the smaller side, this is a great dog to consider as you new furry little family member.

There are plenty of mixed breeds out there, most of which include the poodle in some way or another and I can understand why. Poodles are very smart and as hypoallergenic as they come. However, the Shih Tzu and Bichon are a beautiful combination. Commonly referred to as Teddy Bears. The Shichon, or Zuchon, are highly sought after for their cuddly lap dog temperament.
We have also decided to include the There are
some that look down on cross breeding, I do understand their sentiment, but there is a place for mixed breed dogs in the lives of many people due to the personality created by combining two great temperaments. Besides, who doesn't melt when a cute little bundle of love comes right up to them and shares their joy of life?

A good-size Bichon will stand a shade under a foot tall at the shoulder. The breed’s glory is a white hypoallergenic coat, plush and velvety to the touch, featuring rounded head hair that sets off the large, dark eyes and black leathers of the nose and lips.
Bichons are adaptable companions who get on well with other dogs and children. Alert and curious, Bichons make nice little watchdogs—but they are lovers, not fighters, and operate under the assumption that there are no strangers, just friends they haven’t met yet. Their confidence and size make them ideal city dogs. Bichons train nicely and enjoy performing for their loved ones. Finally, there’s the happy-go-lucky Bichon personality that draws smiles and hugs wherever they go.
