About Us

A family dog breeder

Sunny Plains Pups is a highly trusted family Dog Breeder. We have had animals our whole life as a family, and got involved with breeding dogs in early 2014, when what started out as a way of helping other family members, turned into a fulfilling and life-changing experience. Our main priority is sharing the beauty and fulfillment these Shih Tzu Puppies bring. We use NuVet Plus and recommend it to all of our friends and Sunny Plains Pup families.

When we started out helping family members with their breeding program and we realized how fulfilling this can be. We also discovered that allergies can have a dramatic affect on so many people, our house is no acception. That's why it is important to research, as we have done, into which breed of dog will be the best fit for you and your family's desires and requirements. The right dog can not only improve the physical and emotional well being of those caring for them, but to those who come in contact with them as well! We desire to share the beauty and fulfillment the breeds we specialize in, for you as they have provided for us! We use NuVet Plus, and highly recommend it to all of our friends and Sunny Plains Pups' families, to keep their new little furry family member happy and healthy for a long time. More and more reputable breeders are requiring some sort of nutritional regimen to maintain their health guarantee. We do not require such a strict policy with our guarantee at this point, but do HIGHLY recommend continuing to keep your Sunny Plains Pup supplied with the best possible nutrition available for a long, healthy, and happy life together.

We want everyone to experience the joy and fulfillment we have discovered in the breeds we have chosen to specialize in! These few select breeds of beautiful dogs bring more than just joy to your life, they bring LIFE! It is our desire to share what we have discovered with others. We are convinced anyone can find the same joyous emotions we have with these Sunny Plains Pups!

How About Transportation?

Here's How it works

We offer a variety of delivery options! We will hand deliver any puppy free of charge within a two hour radius of our location in north central Tennessee.

This includes the Nashville (BNA) and Knoxville (TYS) airports if you are flying in from out of state! If you live outside of our two hour radius, we can make arrangements to meet you halfway, or discuss delivery fees to deliver to your home.

If you are located out of state, we have a wonderful flight nanny that would be happy to personally deliver your puppy to your nearest major airport. Our pups are never flown cargo, and will only be flown in cabin with either us or a member of our transportation team!
